Summer’s come & gone & to be honest (despite the pending doom that comes along with Father Winter), we couldn’t be happier about it. Bare ankles & brogues will soon give us the hasta la vista in exchange for a pair of Wigwam socks & Bean boots & in our humble opinion, there’s nothing dressing for the cooler months to bring out the best in everyone’s wardrobe.  No more flip-flops & no more a sea of graphic t-shirts, the city takes on a more decidedly tasteful tone as it seems even the most unaware guy has some decent flannel & some acceptable incarnation of a pea-coat in his closet — and for those who do the whole layering thing well, we offer up a bonafide guarantee that some guy with a camera & a Tumblr will stop you on the street.

If not obvious enough already, we’re loyal fans of fall.  We like our Bean boots, our Fair Isles & all the layers of flannel that come along with it.

Suddenly feeling ill-equipped to deal with fall’s sudden arrival?  We’ve got you covered. Our next pop-up runs October 6th through the 9th with a launch party this coming Thursday at In God We Trust at their recently relocated digs in Williamsburg from 7P – 10P.

With a Buffalo Trace host bar & an impressive hand-picked selection of vintage menswear, objects & curiosities to ease you to fall, we take inspiration this go ’round from the first weeks back at school & all the tall tales of summer vacation that go along with it. Think trips upstate, trips cross country & trips abroad & a quintessentially American wardrobe skewed by nods to indigenous cultures & a sense of adventure.
